  Wow, easily one of the worst meals we've had in the Denver area
  
  We went to comedy works last Friday, and got persuaded into dining at Lucy's to get priority seating at the show. I will admit, getting front row seats to the comedy show was a nice perk.
  
  My girlfriend picked the Shrimp Scampi, which was recommend by the waitress, and I got the Smothered Bistro Steak. Both were awful. The scampi was watery and lacked any flavor. The only flavor of the steak was a burnt char, definitely more of a "this was cooked on a grill that wasn't cleaned between my steak and the last guys steak" and not an actual attempt at a barbecue char. The steak was tough and rubber, which I should have anticipated being as the menu just says "steak" and not any type of actual cut
  
  Just to list a few positives, as I mentioned preferred seating was a plus. Also, the Brussels sprouts were pretty good as well.
  
  But the bulk of the meal was really disappointing. And it looks like I'm not the only one on these reviews who was disappointed with the food. But hopefully the management can take a look at this review and see if this was an off night, or if meal prep/recipes need to be adjusted in order to improve consistency

  The hostess was good, ambience was great. The food...not so good. If they could deliver on the descriptions it soul be awesom. Pork tenderloin was dry and understanding. The salmon, "that everybody loves", mediocre at best. The butter but squash tasted like potato and the lobster bisque, fishy, and not in the good way. Didn't even bother sending back! Don't think the cook would have been able to do any better...

  Love this place! Great staff, wonderful service! They let you bring in your dog if you sit on the patio, they are very dog friendly, which wins me over. The French toast is the best French toast I have ever had. They have homemade whipped cream that's to die for. On sundays if you were your pajamas you get a free mimosa... that's my kind of restaurant!
